We went here for lunch on a recommendation, and are SO glad we did! The food was great, but the real stars are the lovely people who run the place. They were so friendly and warm and welcoming, and were so kind and patient with our 1.5 year old daughter who wanted to explore all during the meal. They treated her like she was their granddaughter, and it made us feel so welcome! We wish we had booked our room here, and we will definitely stay here for for future visits to Cochem!

Good restaurant with German food. Interior looks nice. It also has a hotel. They speak basic English, but that shouldn't be a problem. They have daily menu options, 3 course meal or the main course. Tried the schnitzel 3 course menu. Portions are huge. Soup tastes good, main course okay, dessert with ice cream decent. Prices are decent, rather cheap. Only drawback is they do not accept cards. There is a paid covered parking available at 0.40 EUR per 30 mins just opposite to the restaurant

Very cozy hotel with vety nice oweners. We had a great time here. Rooms were very nice. Great breakfast and great restaurant if you are looking to eat at the hotel as well. Walking distance to downtown and very affordable for a comfortable stay.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was yummy. Room was newly refinished and was clean. Only negative thing that happened was the owner wouldn't accept VISA and only wanted cash. When my brother in law checked out of his room he spoke to the owner in German and he eventally took his VISA.
